Learn Effective techniques, examples and ideas to utilize the FB platform
more efficiently. These classes are for those who have a general understanding of the Facebook platform and are seeking to establish a "business page" for promoting a business, product, service etc.

Intro to Social Media & Facebook 101
This class provides an introduction of popular social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, no matter what your age or computer experience! Participants will learn how to determine which social media sites to use, when, why and what for. This class gives participants the opportunity to setup a Facebook account together, with take home notes for further enhancement at home. Class includes basic instructions for navigating the platform and how to find people and groups of interest. Includes multiple handouts, glossary and take home note sheets.
Creating Effective Images & Content for Social Media using PowerPoint
When scrolling through Facebook do you ever say to yourself, I wish my graphics were that good? Do you have a hard time putting text and images together? Confused or can't find the right tools to do so? You’ll be surprised by how easy and automated some of these tricks are, especially for the beginner! In this interactive workshop, participants will be using tools including PowerPoint and other free resources online to create graphics for presentations, websites and social media sites other than just Facebook. Beginners welcome!
In this class, participants will learn best practices for creating presentations & graphics that
engage, create visual impact, and strengthen the message of an individual, a reputation or brand.
Participates will experience the difference between PowerPoint, Prezi and other presentation
platforms on the web. Discover where and how to find free typestyles, colors, ideas, and images
that help to deliver the perfect message. Walk away knowing how to organize and gather content
for connecting to an audience, and even how to create a video of your presentation!
